Website and example disclaimer
Context and limits of the descriptions, illustrations and local enquiry process.
1. Purpose of the published material
The portfolio explores how motifs, repeats and palettes can define a surface-pattern direction. It does not assess a particular product specification or certify a textile for manufacture. Service descriptions are an invitation to define a brief; they give no stock availability, print guarantee or promise of compatibility with a supplier’s equipment. Decisions about production need the actual material, dimensions and technical requirements. A digital repeat can make a creative idea tangible without proving that a physical product has been made, tested or approved.
2. What the examples represent
The three collection names belong to fictional briefs created for this portfolio. Orchard Sunday, After Rain and Cut Paper Garden are not presented as client brands, paying commissions or released product lines. The graphics are original flat vector patterns rather than photographs of textiles. No sales figures, manufacturer endorsement or customer result accompanies them. Their value is the visible discussion of rhythm, shape and colour. Removing the independent-concept description would change what the studies claim, so that context should travel with any reference to them.
3. Identity and professional claims
The publisher identity and address appear in the About page and footer. Lauren Wilson is the public name derived from the supplied individual identity. No training, award, professional membership or commercial client history is asserted. No endorsement, certification, award, years of personal experience or independently verified client list is asserted by the design of these pages. The published domain and English text do not create a United States office or change the address shown. A future agreement should correctly identify its parties and the capacity in which a service is being provided.
4. Checking the intended use
A screen palette is a starting point, not a physical colour specification. Substrate, ink, print method, scale and finishing can alter the result. For an actual application, confirm repeat dimensions, colour handling, source format, licensed uses and responsibility for proof approval with the relevant participants. A pattern illustration is not a product-safety assessment or a manufacturer’s technical sheet. The example cannot supply missing permissions or verify factual product copy. Appropriate production checks remain necessary even when the drawing appears visually complete.
5. Email drafts and receipt
The pattern enquiry is a local browser summary until you choose a further step. Its optional link offers a draft to your email application for [email protected]; it does not place an artwork order, license an image or book a production slot. You may change or discard the message before sending. The page cannot confirm inbox delivery or a reply schedule. If a launch date matters, agree availability and acceptance explicitly rather than treating a generated draft as a reservation.
6. Availability and external behaviour
A browser, host, network or email application can fail or behave differently under different settings. Static pages and diagrams do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every device or third-party service. A locally prepared draft can disappear when a page is reloaded, and browser restoration may behave differently between devices. Save information you need using your own appropriate tools. These practical limitations do not remove duties or rights that apply to an actual agreement; they explain the limited function of the public enquiry tool.
7. Corrections and rights
If a description or example appears inaccurate, identify the page and the specific issue in a message to [email protected]. A correction can be considered without treating the original wording as an agreed commercial specification. The disclaimer reflects the pages as published on 3 November 2026 and should be read with the Privacy, Terms and Cancellations pages. It does not exclude statutory rights or excuse misleading statements. Any commissioned work needs its own clear record of scope, responsibilities and acceptance, rather than assumptions drawn from a portfolio or illustrative overview.
